Fountain pen is made in our workshop in Aosta Valley, Italy. This fountain pen is realized in natural African buffalo horn, hand-turned and hand-polished by our experienced craftsmen . The cap and finger grip section are made of solid sterling 925 silver with 18 kt gold plated finishing. Silver surface is engaved with elegant guilloché twisting pattern using a diamond point to create a "niche" writing instrument.

Our clients are assured to buy truly precious writing instruments as our company belongs to the Italian silversmith guild, which complies with both compulsory Italian and European law. This compliance is verified by marking each writing instrument with a rhombus shaped stamp encasing the mark “*AO 28”, our guild symbol and oval stamp "925". These stamps insure each customer that we are using solid silver 925.

Our fountain pens are updated with double-use refilling system - both converter or cartridges can be put. The pen is delivered with pumping converter inside and a set of 6 cartridges for gift that further can be bought in stationary shops all over the world.

The pen has gold-plated Medium-point nib. Other (Fine, Extra Fine, Broad and very Broad) nib sizes are available on request without any charge. Also solid gold 18 kt nibs are available on special request (including stub/calligraphic nibs).

We ship the fountain pen encased in a made-in-Italy pen gift box with the authentic origin certificate. Lifelong technical assistance is guaranteed.

International shipping with air mail registered packet is already included into the pen price. Average shipping time is 18-21 days world-wide.

Note: Due to its nature the buffalo horn has various color shades and tints (brown or black, light or dark), its vein texture changes from pen to pen. We are ready to meet your preferences according to our workshop availability.

Note 2: Our horn is imported from Kenyan and South African farms, it is the byproduct of catering industry regularly purchased in Italy. According to Washington Convention (CITES) the buffalo doesn't belong to endangered species.
